The accolades keep coming, and it’s no surprise Colorado Springs took another top three spot. The city is thriving, thanks in part to a booming downtown, low unemployment, and low cost of living, plus a vibrant startup ecosystem. Add in some *pretty* incredible views and a never-ending list of recreation options (like hundreds of miles of urban and open spaces), and you know why U.S. News & World Report yet again ranked us as one of the top three Best Places to Live.
We’re holding steady with the usual stats that snag such standings. Our region’s healthy and diverse job market, excellent schools, low commute times, and growing millennial population all factored into our ranking. Then there’s that one stat that so many communities try to achieve but only a few can: desirability. Colorado Springs scored a perfect 10, and we couldn’t agree more.
