Career Opportunities
We currently have two career opportunities:
- Director, Executive Operations. The Director of Executive Operations provides administrative support for the day-to-day needs of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), oversees a team of operations and administrative professionals, and facilitates Boards, Committees and Councils’ needs. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Director of Executive Operations performs a broad range of complex administrative duties, serves on the senior executive team, and serves as the key channel of communication for the CEO and Senior Leadership Team with staff, Board of Directors, and community members as well as other stakeholders seeking their time and/or resources. - Vice President, Membership. The Vice President, Membership is responsible for membership sales and value propositions at each level of investment, to grow and cultivate our membership base. This leadership position is responsible for ensuring the growth and retention of the Chamber & EDC’s membership base by implementing and maintaining comprehensive and aggressive recruitment, engagement, and service programs resulting in strong, stable relationships. Our 2024 Organizational Goals
- Accelerate economic development recruitment/attraction and amplify the Business, Retention & Expansion (BRE) program.
- Lead regional engagement during the legislative session on bills affecting affordable and attainable housing, childcare, and workforce development.
- Utilize the Economic Industry Sector and Workforce Cluster Analysis Study, Market Perception study, and Resource Inventory to create a talent strategy.
- Maintain existing and increase new strategic partnerships.
- Identify and codify top internal financial processes to be followed by all team members.
- Amplify and promote defense community regional resources to including advocacy, workforce, and talent development.
