Colorado Springs Startup Week will feature sports startups, cybersecurity, inventive workshops

Entrepreneurs and business leaders from all over the state and region are traveling to Colorado Springs for the 5th annual Colorado Springs Techstars Startup Week, September 9-13. With 1,000 expected to attend, the event will be packed with free workshops, networking, and speaking events designed to connect and support innovators, entrepreneurs, and community builders of all kinds.

Join the startup community to explore new business growth and updates around Colorado. Colorado Springs is contributing to the state’s rise as an entrepreneurial hub and specific industries such as sports technology and cybersecurity that make the region unique.

“This is going to be the biggest Startup Week that Colorado Springs has experienced,” said Natasha Main, executive director of Peak Startup. “We’ve got an impressive lineup of entrepreneurs and leaders speaking and sharing best practices and ready to make connections. We’re closing out the event with our Community Pitch Night complete with break-dancers to keep the energy levels high.”

“This year we are focusing on inclusivity, our unique tracks have been developed with community partners to highlight emerging industries such as sports tech in the adventure track, the importance of a creative economy to our culture of innovation, and how collaboration is a best practice across all sectors in the Collective Impact track,” explained Main. “With speakers from all over the nation, there is truly something for everyone to experience at Colorado Springs Techstars Startup Week.”
