Colorado sweeps “best places to live” list

Colorado is home to four of the top five best cities to live in, including Colorado Springs, according to U.S. News & World Report. Colorado Springs takes the fourth spot with a noted 10/10 on their desirability index. To make the top of the list, a place had to have good value, be a desirable place to live, have a strong job market, and high quality of life.

The report states that “Colorado Springs attracts students, professionals, and military personnel to the area with a cache of military bases and nationally ranked college. Plus, construction in Colorado Springs is booming, with new residences popping up alongside quality schools, parks, and cultural attractions.”

Our community’s five military bases, a fueled talent pipeline, and renowned universities, plus the high quality of life are just a few reasons why Colorado Springs is the ideal location for the permanent U.S. Space Command headquarters. For the same reasons, professionals from all industries come here to set down roots and contribute to an innovative workforce.

Just days after the outlet released the best places to live findings, it also announced Colorado’s economy ranks the best in the nation.
