Pikes Peak Housing Network

The Colorado Springs Chamber & EDC is proud to host the Pikes Peak Housing Network (PPHN), an independent organization whose mission is to find solutions for housing affordability, access, and production in the Pikes Peak region.

Pikes Peak Housing Network was established in 2023 by a group of community leaders concerned about Colorado Springs’ lack of affordable and workforce housing for our growing workforce, families, military, and senior population.

PPHN is the only nonprofit organization accomplishing this work in Colorado, and the Colorado Springs Chamber & EDC works alongside them to ensure our businesses can grow and hire their needed workforce.

Mission

Our mission is to foster innovative and collaborative solutions that advance housing affordability, access, and production in the Pikes Peak Region.

Guiding Principles

  1. PPHN will promote a regional culture that values affordable and attainable housing, diverse housing types, a stable workforce, and the foundation for individuals and families to thrive.
  2. PPHN will unite an ongoing broad-based coalition of partners from businesses, nonprofits, real estate, and government that have diverse perspectives and interests to promote enduring solutions to housing needs across all income levels.
  3. PPHN will provide, and be guided by, research, data, and best practices to inform effective decision-making
  4. PPHN will advocate for affordable and attainable housing policies and solutions that increase housing stock throughout the Pikes Peak Region and where it is most needed.
  5. Through education, PPHN will build regional capacity and experiences around best practices, neighborhood planning strategies, real estate options, and housing finance.
  6. PPHN will confront social, economic, and racial housing practices that are discriminatory and result in segregation or disenfranchisement.
