Introducing our Voice of Business committees

We’re always looking to provide for our members. We’re excited to announce three new Voice of Business committees to better understand your needs, provide you with a coordinated platform to address important issues, and help shape our region’s business climate. The committees will focus on three areas: small business, diversity in the workforce, and franchise businesses.

Small Business Advisory Council
This committee will focus on small business priorities and inform our small business strategy, including our pro-business legislative advocacy work. We’ll connect you with available resources and discuss challenges like upskilling the small business workforce and creating future small business leaders.

Diversity in the Workplace
We recently sponsored and participated in the Colorado Diversity Council’s fourth annual Diversity Bootcamp. We convened 10 interested members to join us and together we’ll create an agenda for this new committee. We’re looking for volunteers who want to discuss best practices, tools, resources, and ideas to help build a strong and inclusive business community, one of our strategic initiatives.

Franchise Focus Group
No matter your franchise model, you’re doing business in our community and employing our workforce. Help us understand what it’s like to run a franchise in the Pikes Peak region and how we can help you meet your unique business goals.

Interested in joining a committee?
Committee participation is open to all members (regardless of membership level) who have been active with the Chamber & EDC for one or more years.
