Verizon opens applications for Forward for Good Accelerator program
Applications are open for Verizon’s first Forward for Good Accelerator cohort focused on Climate Justice. The deadline to apply is April 30, 2021, with the first cohort beginning in June.
The Verizon Forward for Good Accelerator is an ongoing initiative to partner startups with industry experts and technology leaders to drive social change. Verizon is looking to accelerate emerging solutions using 5G, MEC, Big Data, AI, and XR, and other disruptive technologies, with a goal of getting technology solutions in front of the right people, and into the hands of those who need it most.
Verizon is launching with our Climate Justice cohort, focused on scaling solutions for those disproportionately affected by the climate crisis. With access to industry experts and Verizon’s cutting-edge technology, these startups will receive funding, mentorship, education, and exposure over 16 weeks in the program. Applications are live.
In addition to the start-ups, Verizon is looking to build a community of innovators, problem solvers, and partners to help these startups develop and deploy their solutions to those most in need. If there are speakers, mentors, funders who you think might be interested in this program, please direct them to Verizon’s partners page.
