Employers Council
Businesses can access over 200 top employment law attorneys, human resource

other specialists; offering you the broadest array of professional services under one roof. Chamber members receive exclusive members-only access to Employers Council classes for the month of August. Curating Connections focuses on the development of women leaders through life-long learning, creating valuable connections, and curating impactful, thoughtful discussions with women and men to enhance workplace cultures. We believe that when participants share their diverse viewpoints, are open to honest conversations, and are willing to learn from others, then

US Chamber of Commerce
Through the Federation Partnership, eligible small business members of the Chamber & EDC receive an e-membership at no cost ($600 value), which includes access to legal documents and advice; discounts through the US Chamber’s savings programs; and access to Small Business Nation (home to tips and tools for small businesses). Ribbon Cutting

We’ll help introduce your business to the community, or celebrate your growth! Promote your grand opening event and gain exposure in the community for your new business or expansion with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

To set up your ribbon cutting, simply fill out our ribbon-cutting request form.

All requests must be received 14 days in advance. Ribbon cutting ceremonies are held Monday through Thursday between the hours of 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and cannot be scheduled at the same time as Chamber & EDC events. We schedule no more than two ribbon cuttings a day.

In accordance with public health guidelines and to protect our business community’s wellbeing, the following guidelines are effective until further notice:

  • Participants must maintain 6′ of distance, including during the actual cutting of the ribbon and any other photo opps
  • Only one person will cut the ribbon
  • Masks must be worn by all participants
  • Ribbon cuttings will be closed events and not promoted in advance
  • A maximum of five (5) Chamber & EDC ambassadors will be present
  • The hosting business must sign a liability waiver

Business Briefings
Join us for our educational event series in collaboration with the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS), College of Business’ Office of Professional & Executive Development (OPED). Each session is co-facilitated by a university professor and a local business owner, merging both research-based business concepts with real-life experiences, creating an innovative learning environment. You’ll have the opportunity to network, learn, exchange ideas, and gain insight into high-level business trends, all while furthering your leadership and professional skills.
