Making great things happen: members in the news

Downtown Colorado Springs

Our members are always making great things happen. Just recently, the restoration and detailing team at the Seattle Museum of Flight selected Ryan Smith of Pro Auto Spa to be a part of their exclusive 2019 Air Force One Detailing Team. Smith is one of 55 hand-picked volunteers cleaning and restoring the original Air Force One and several other historic aircrafts, including the first-ever Boeing Jumbo Jet 747, this week.

Smith isn’t the only member making great things happen this summer. Timberline Landscaping just landed Landscape Management’s list of 2019 Top 150 Landscaping Companies. This comes as no surprise if you’ve ever strolled The Broadmoor’s beautiful grounds where some of their best work is on display.

Then there are the heavy hitters of our community’s defense sector. Three of our members – Lockheed Martin, Boecore, and Vectrus – made Colorado Springs Business Journal’s Best in Business Write-in. On a related note, we spied Kyle Blakely’s name on the list as best CEO (any industry).

Speaking of lists, four companies in the Pikes Peak region recently made Colorado Biz magazine’s prestigious “50 Colorado Companies to Watch” list, including Flow Right Plumbing, Heating & Cooling, Inc.
