Introducing Champions of COS: The Colorado Springs Chamber & EDC’s New Member Engagement Initiative

The Colorado Springs Chamber & EDC is proud to introduce Champions of COS, a new member engagement initiative designed to deepen member connections, strengthen regional collaboration, and elevate the experience of doing business in Colorado Springs.

Champions of COS brings together committed business leaders who want to support fellow members, represent the Chamber & EDC in the community and help build a more connected and thriving business environment. Champions are selected through a formal screening and interview process to ensure alignment with the Chamber & EDC’s mission and commitment to professionalism.

This initiative unifies and evolves the work previously done through the Voyagers and the Small Business Advisory Council (SBAC), creating one coordinated framework with greater clarity, impact, and opportunity for engagement.

Two Pathways to Serve: Engagement or Events

Champions of COS includes two distinct tracks – Engagement and Events – which are each essential to strengthening our regional business network.

Engagement Track

Membership Lead: Carie Wailgum

Champions in the Engagement Track focus on building meaningful, ongoing relationships between the Chamber & EDC and its members. Each Champion is assigned a portfolio of 50 members and connects quarterly with each member to understand their needs, share opportunities and ensure they are receiving value from their Chamber investment.

Engagement Champions serve as an extension of our membership team, ensuring every business feels seen, supported, and connected.

Events Track

Events Champions help shape the welcoming, high-quality experience that members association with Chamber & EDC events. They serve as connectors, greeters and on-site support to ensure smooth and engaging programs.
