A Colorado Springs favorite is expanding and relocating
Colorado Springs, Colo. — After nearly seven years at his current location on Rockrimmon Drive, Chef Robert “BB” Brunet, executive chef of Momma Pearl’s Cajun Kitchen, is pleased to announce the opening of Momma Pearl’s new location at 162 Tracker Drive, in the Polaris Pointe Shopping Center at the I-25 Northgate Exit #156. Chef BB and his wife Becky have been looking for ways to grow their popular Cajun Restaurant and were quick to seize on the opportunity to pick up the lease on the site previously operating as the 719 Gastropub. The new location, situated on top of the hill above the Bass Pro Shop and the new Boot Barn Hall entertainment venue, offers visitors a stunning view of Pikes Peak and the entire Colorado Springs front range.
Momma Pearl’s Cajun Kitchen, named after Chef BB’s real mother, the recently deceased Pearl Theriot, originally opened in August of 2013. Since that time, Chef BB and his team have served nearly 100,000 guests from Denver to Pueblo and all stops in between. Not wanting to miss out on Colorado’s craft beer obsession, Momma Pearl’s features many of Louisiana’s own Abita Brewing Company’s finest craft beers including Purple Haze, Andygator, and Cast Iron IPA among others. Chef BB’s biggest attraction happens with his weekly Live Louisiana Crawfish Boils held every Saturday morning, while they’re in season from January through July. The Chef gets the live “mudbugs” shipped in fresh from Louisiana each week and boils them to perfection with all the fixings including new potatoes, corn on the cob, and andouille sausage. Momma Pearl’s always celebrates the New Orleans Carnival season with authentic Mardi Gras King Cakes made from scratch in his own kitchen with everything from cinnamon pecans to raspberry and cherry cream cheese fillings.
Unlike Momma Pearl’s previous location, which was closed on Mondays, their new location at 162 Tracker Drive will be open seven days a week, Monday through Thursday from 11 AM until 10 PM, and Friday and Saturday from 11 AM until 11 PM. Sunday Brunch will be served from 9 AM until 2 PM with the full-service menu available from 2 PM until 8 PM. The new Momma Pearl’s will also feature a full-service bar with all of your well favorites and a featured selection of N’awlins Bourbon Street Cocktails including Hurricanes, Mint Juleps, Sazaracs, and more.
