Tim Vanderhoof named Vice President of Economic Development of Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce & Economic Development Corporation
The Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce & Economic Development Corporation (CSCEDC) is excited to announce Tim Vanderhoof as the new Vice President of Economic Development.
Vanderhoof will lead the organization’s economic development mission to attract, expand, and retain target sector businesses in Colorado Springs. He and his team will develop and implement strategies to support local businesses, grow the region’s economy, and talent development and recruitment programs.
“Tim brings years of expertise in economic development that will be instrumental to our success at the Colorado Springs Chamber & Economic Development Corporation,” said Johnna Reeder Kleymeyer, the organization’s President and CEO. “His leadership will drive our team to capitalize on the growth of the region and further produce results in attracting jobs and capital investment critical to moving our community forward.”
Tim has worked in economic development for more than a decade. His experience ranges from large-scale public-private partnerships, serving as Senior Vice President of Enterprise Florida, to his most recent role at Lake Economic Area Development (LEAD) Partnership located in Central Florida. Throughout his tenure in Florida, 143 economic development projects were announced creating and retained 40,029 jobs and with more than $6.1 billion in new capital investment.

Tim’s portfolio includes Fortune 500 companies comprised of financial services, aviation/aerospace, advanced manufacturing, life sciences, logistics/distribution, and information technology firms.
Tim has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, Business Facilities, Inbound Logistics, and Corporate Expansion and Global Trade magazines. He has presented on foreign direct investment for the International Economic Development Council (IEDC).
Tim is a member of the International Economic Development Council (IEDC), IAMC, CoreNet Global and holds a Qualified Professional of Corporate Real Estate (QPCR) designation with CoreNet Global and obtained his Master Economic Development Practitioner (MEDP) designation. Vanderhoof was recognized as one of the “Top 50 Economic Developers in North America” in 2017.
Tim is known to bring careful attention to detail to project management and delivers results across a broad spectrum of industries. The CSCEDC welcomes Tim to the team for the advancement of economic development in Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak region.
