Formstack, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) company with a mission to empower its users through simple and elegant tools that remove the complexity from everyday business processes, today announced plans to open a new office in Colorado Springs, Colo. In conjunction with the announcement, the company also revealed plans to add 55 new jobs.
“Formstack has a largely remote workforce with employees scattered across the United States and around the globe, and we saw a concentration taking place in the Colorado Springs area, including myself,” said Dustin Sapp, COO of Formstack. “We saw the city as a natural fit for our continued growth with its strong access to talent, central location and a quality of life that fits the Formstack culture.”
The online data capture provider’s headquarters will remain in Indianapolis, Ind. The Colorado Springs office opening comes at a time of sustained growth, with the company anticipating continued revenue expansion in 2017, a 50 percent increase in its remote workforce of already over 120 and further product enhancements to scale Formstack’s online form solutions.
“We are happy to welcome Formstack to Colorado Springs. We are eager to continue our work together as they grow their business,” said Dirk Draper, President and CEO of the Colorado Springs Chamber & EDC. “With our world-class technology industry and top-notch talent, Colorado Springs is a fitting place for Formstack as they capitalize on their increasing success.”
The office will serve as a hub for the company’s outbound sales, mid-market and enterprise team, bringing high-quality jobs to the area. In the past decade, the Formstack product has grown to include over 500,000 users in 112 countries, and the company continues to report positive annual revenue growth. In 2016, Formstack reported a 125 percent increase in new revenue from its highest paid subscription plan.
“Formstack has experienced notable team expansion since its inception in 2006, including a 36 percent workforce growth year over year,” said Chris Byers, CEO of Formstack. “We’re recruiting and retaining the best employees for our innovative and hard-working culture, and we’re excited to further tap into the Colorado workforce to continue our growth.”
“I’m pleased Formstack chose to invest in and grow their operations in Colorado Springs. I am enthusiastic about their rise in the technology sector and look forward to welcoming them to our business community,” said Colorado Springs Mayor John Suthers.
