Cecilia Harry elected to board of directors for Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives Foundation

Cecilia Harry, the Chamber & EDC’s chief economic development officer, has been elected to serve on the board of directors for the ACCE Foundation, a 501(c)3 that supports the work of the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives. ACCE’s Foundation was established to fund programming, peer-to-peer learning, and leadership development for chamber professionals seeking to create positive change by addressing the issues that challenge the long-term economic health and quality of life in our country’s cities and towns.

Directors bring their knowledge and expertise to help the ACCE Foundation understand industry trends and the needs of members working in the priority areas of the Foundation. Those include education and talent, diversity, equity and inclusion, and economic and community development.

“We are pleased to welcome Cecilia to the ACCE Foundation Board of Directors,” said Sheree Anne Kelly, president & CEO of ACCE and its affiliated foundation. “Chambers of commerce are local catalysts that work in so many vital areas. Cecilia will play a critical role in the success of our industry through the work of ACCE Foundation which seeks to strengthen chambers of commerce and affect change in our communities.”

Harry is the chief economic development officer at the Colorado Springs Chamber & EDC. She joined the organization in December 2019 and brings over 10 years of experience in the economic development and chamber of commerce industries to advance the mission of the Chamber & EDC. She has led and supported recovery efforts in the region through the pandemic, and her team is responsible for supporting existing and prospective businesses seeking to grow and invest in the region and advocating for a competitive business climate.
