Bliss Mobil USA Selects Colorado Springs for U.S. Headquarters, Bringing New Jobs and Long-Term Investment
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The Colorado Springs Chamber & EDC today announced that Bliss Mobil USA, a global expedition mobility company specializing in premium, off-grid living systems for expedition vehicles, has selected Colorado Springs for its U.S. headquarters.
The project is expected to create high-quality new jobs and generate approximately $4 million in capital investment in the Colorado Springs region.
Bliss Mobil’s U.S. headquarters will be strategically located near Colorado Springs Airport, positioning the company for continued growth in the North American market while placing it at the doorstep of the Rocky Mountains and the outdoor environment at the heart of its brand.
Bliss Mobil designs highly engineered, truck-independent overland traveling units built for global exploration and extended travel in remote environments. The units combine premium living accommodations with off-grid capabilities and are engineered to perform across demanding conditions, from extreme cold to harsh heat and rugged terrain.
The company’s “off-grid” capable living units are currently manufactured at Bliss Mobil’s facility in Breda, Netherlands, and shipped to markets around the world, including the United States, where they are integrated with compatible truck platforms. As Bliss Mobil grows its North American operation, the company is also exploring opportunities to bring portions of its manufacturing process to the United States in the future.
“We are excited to put down roots in Colorado Springs and build the next chapter of Bliss Mobil USA here,” said Spencer Park, General Manager of Bliss Mobil USA. “This location makes tremendous sense for who we are and where we are going. We have access to the airport, a strong community to grow our team, and the Rocky Mountains right outside our door. For a company built around independent travel and exploration, ‘off the grid’ is right in our backyard.”
The Colorado Springs Chamber & EDC worked alongside regional partners to support Bliss Mobil through the site-selection process and establish its U.S. headquarters in the region.
“Bliss Mobil is exactly the kind of global, innovative company we want choosing Colorado Springs for its next chapter,” said Bonnie Goff, Vice President of Economic Development at the Colorado Springs Chamber & EDC. “This project brings quality jobs and $4 million in capital investment, but what is especially exciting is the opportunity ahead. Bliss Mobil is establishing its U.S. headquarters here, building its North American presence here, and evaluating how more of its operations could ultimately grow here. That is how we strengthen and diversify our economy.
“There is also a natural fit between this company and Colorado Springs. Bliss Mobil builds technology for people who want to go beyond the ordinary, and from our airport to the Rocky Mountains, that spirit of exploration is part of who we are. We are proud to welcome them to Colorado Springs.”
Bliss Mobil’s decision also adds another internationally connected company to the Pikes Peak region and demonstrates Colorado Springs’ ability to compete for headquarters operations, investment, and growing global businesses.
“Bliss Mobil’s decision to make El Paso County the home of its U.S. headquarters is an exciting investment in our community and a strong vote of confidence in our region,” said El Paso County Commissioner Carrie Geitner. “Companies are choosing El Paso County because we have created an environment that supports business growth, innovation, and opportunity, backed by a skilled workforce and exceptional quality of life. We are proud to welcome Bliss Mobil and the new jobs and opportunities their presence will create.”
“Bliss Mobil is an exciting addition to Colorado Springs and a natural fit for a city defined by innovation, adventure, and an exceptional quality of life,” said Colorado Springs Mayor Yemi Mobolade. “We are proud to welcome the company’s U.S. headquarters to our region and support its next chapter of growth. This investment is a vote of confidence in Colorado Springs; our talented workforce, strong business climate, and collaborative spirit. We are building a city where innovative companies can grow, people can build meaningful careers, and businesses and families can flourish.”
