Help shape our business community and culture
Our highest priority is advocating for business, and our ability to do this is built upon a strong foundation of input from our members. Our Voice of Business committees offer opportunities for members to come together to unify the voice of business and share information honestly, with the intent of adding to an ecosystem of pro-business thought leadership. They are meant to better understand our members’ needs, provide them with a coordinated platform to address important issues, and help shape our region’s business climate. The committees will focus on three areas: small business, diversity in the workforce, and franchise businesses.
Small Business Advisory Council
Dedicated to providing advocacy and support to our small business members as we plan for growth and economic recovery. We’ll use what we learn to support our members, inform our legislative strategies, and shape educational programming. Later this month we’ll launch the Small Business Advisory Council (SBAC) Roundtable. Our SBAC committee leads will facilitate small group discussions.
Diversity in the Workplace Committee
To build a strong and inclusive business climate by presenting education and actionable solutions for employers.
Franchise Focus Committee
Create education and support resources for franchise owners, public awareness around the franchising model, and inform our legislative strategy.
