Home to the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee, Colorado Springs is Olympic City USA and has the winning assets to prove it.

The city is home to 24 national governing bodies, 60-plus national sports organizations, the largest U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center, and, most recently, the new $75 million U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum. Other facilities include the U.S. Olympic Training Center Velodrome, Broadmoor World Arena (ice skating training center), and the World Figure Skating Museum.

Thanks to a formal agreement, Colorado Springs is the only city endorsed by the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee as Olympic City USA. This partnership allows for exclusive opportunities with residents, students, and athletes. Education programs at 70 schools include essay contests, field days, and fostering an understanding of ethics, fair play, and inclusivity. In Olympic years, locals and Olympians gather downtown to celebrate Colorado Springs’ own opening ceremonies. Championships (national and international), tournaments, and Olympic qualifying events keep the spirit of the Olympics alive year-round.

Also supporting the national sports complex in Colorado Springs are the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency, the U.S. Association of Blind Athletes, and the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
