We’re looking forward to seeing you! Below are the details you will need for your trip.

The Yotel DC (formerly Liaison Capitol Hill) is located on Capitol Hill. Trip participants are responsible for getting from the airport to the hotel upon arrival.

  • The hotel is located 34 miles from Dulles Airport, approximately 50 minutes via taxi/cab or rideshare.
  • The hotel is located 5 miles from DCA Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, approximately 12 minutes via taxi/cab or rideshare.
  • The hotel is approximately a 10-minute walk (or a 5-minute drive) from Union Station.
  • A note about breakfasts:
    • Grab-and-go breakfasts can be ordered online from Art and Soul, the hotel’s restaurant and bar on Tuesday and Wednesday beginning at 7 a.m. Your breakfast will be ready for pick-up at Art and Soul approx. 30-35 minutes after ordering.

What to expect

COVID-19 precautions 

Washington, D.C. reinstated its mask mandate on July 31, 2021.

  • Masks are required in all indoor spaces, including the Opening Reception Dinner Cruise
  • Masks are not required outdoors

Dress code

The dress code for the Welcome and Closing Receptions will be business casual. All other events will be business attire. Do plan for a significant amount of walking. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes.


  • The Welcome Reception will be a cruise on the Potomac River on Monday evening. We will provide bus transportation for the group with two departures from the hotel at 4:45 p.m. and 5:15 p.m. (6-8 p.m. cruise) EST. Thank you to the City of Colorado Springs for sponsoring this year’s Welcome Reception.
  • The Closing Reception will be at the National Museum of the American Indian on the 5th-floor outdoor patio overlooking the National Mall from 6-8 p.m. EST. Thank you to El Paso County and LinQuest for sponsoring this year’s Closing Reception.

Tracks and dinners

During the day on Tuesday, you will be with the people on your track. In the evening, there will be small group dinners so you have opportunities to share experiences from the day with fellow trip participants. View a digital version of our 2021 Participant Guide:


Mark your calendar

Join us at the Chamber & EDC offices for our post-trip debrief on Tuesday, Oct. 5 from 1 – 2 p.m. The Chamber & EDC offices are located at 102 S. Tejon Street in downtown Colorado Springs. We are on the 12th floor.
